American artists back out of the Freedom 250 celebration: 'Never told about any political involvement with the event'
As the United States of America gears up to celebrate the 250th anniversary of its independence, multiple artists have dropped out of performing in the festival. The nonprofit has a 16-day event planned on the National Mall in Washington DC from June 25 to July 10, 2026.
