Aldon Smith’s family to have former 49er’s brain studied for CTE
Smith died Saturday at San Jose’s Good Samaritan Hospital after a medical event in Los Gatos. No cause has been given by the Santa Clara Medical Examiner’s Office for the 36-year-old’s death.
